A new beginning, a new era , a wonderful new day and I woke up at 8:30 AM even after Lord knows going to sleep at 5 AM….this folks was New Year’s Day and I had spent the eve before on my own watching re-run of the Walmart baby movie –Where The Heart Is and playing Combine on Facebook trying to beat my brother’s score. No I did not beat his score…..aaaaarrrrrggghhhh. Yeah…I can hear you thinking –get a life Girl. Well I honestly did not want to join the party circuit, been there done that and moved on.
My New Year day was spent in the company of one of my client’s family and I have to tell you it that I had a blast. After a very long time I enjoyed a great conversation and believe it or not some of that was with a 16 year old, focused and very intelligent, well read and amazingly astute. She wants to be a doctor in Navy and has probably read all my favorite classics. We underestimate the kids sometimes and I think we should give more credence to their viewpoints.
On my way back I called my other client in Waddell and she was so thrilled to hear my voice and asked me to stop by. The baby is going to be a year old in February and this is an amazing couple who makes me appreciate the power of love beyond color, creed and any boundaries everyday. The house has been re-painted in colors she likes and looks absolutely fabulous.
The last week of the year was spent watching movies since most of time I have not had time to do that so Invictus, Sherlock Holmes, Up In The Air, 500 Days of Summer, Four Christmases, etc.
That’s it for now, am in the office now and have a lot of work to do, will write again.

A year ago I was looking forward to 2009 somehow there was this strong belief that everything would come right with my world in 2009 , well the number 9 just works for me. It turned out to be a year full of intense trials but somehow its almost over and even with all that went on its kind of hard to say goodbye. Met some very interesting people, formed some new friendships, let go of the ones which were bringing negativity to my life, decided to give few others a second chance and held on strongly to those who really mattered. Learned some important life lessons and decided to be more forgiving and accepting.
Visits from family which brightened the year and love from the kids which makes everyday worth living, friends who proved their worth in platinum everyday and at every turn, wonderful neighbors who prove to be a blessing, unexpected kindness of strangers which humbled me and all this just made me sail through those trial periods.
Its hard to bid adieu to this year coz it did have some absolutely wonderful moments that I will cherish but its time to welcome the new year and look forward to what its about to unfold….the endless possibilities and all those unknown people I have yet to meet and get to know.
So Here’s Wishing Everyone Hope, Love, Joy, Happiness , Prosperity, Wealth and like Miss Universe would say PEACE on Earth or was it World Peace…..that’s it for today….remember party hard, live it up and drink but don’t drive
